Catan Friends,
A quick update from the production line. Production is completing in about 90% of the items in the coming 10 days and we are thrilled with the quality of everything.
There are two final elements that we are still dialing in that are holding up the process. The first is that it is taking some time to get the purple wood frames linking in perfectly. We are airshipping the final samples to the CATAN team for final approval.
The second element we are still dialing in is that we found the colors on the resin tiles were too similar and leading so confusion during game play. We are experimenting and finalizing and have the new colors also being sent to CATAN for final approval.
Once we have these two last elements, we will expedite production on these and get all of the product on the water for distribution. We are hoping to ship everything by end of summer.
We apologize for the delay as we underestimated the complexity of so many skus in the lineup. We also know that this is an expensive set and we want everything to be perfect for the money paid and are taking a "measure twice, cut once" approach, which we should have better communicated at the beginning.
In summary, product is coming of the line. Final tweaks are slowing a couple things down. Shipments coming!

Quick Color Update

Backers,
Just a quick update. We just wrapped up production on the civilizations and made a color adjustment on the Chinese Civilization to match the core CATAN blue vs the original sky blue concept. It came out looking great!
Product is rolling off the line and we cant wait to start shipping in a few months!

Spring Update

Greetings Backers,
Production of all products are in full swing! We are working on finalizing dates and shipping schedules. All items will be shipping together, so unfortunately, even a single issue with one item is holding up the who schedule (traffic jam).
One issue we have run into is that with the Antique Gold color. When testing in gameplay, we realized that this Antique Gold color was too similar to the Antique Silver and Antique Copper colors when placed on the board together.
Because of this, we decided to switch the gold to a shiny gold color below. The Catan team loves this new shiny gold color. If you selected the Antique Gold color and do not like this shiny gold color there is still time to select a different color option from our other available colors. If you selected Antique Gold, it will automatically be updated to this shiny gold.
As promised, the packaging is coming out great and is super premium which is also featured below.
For those that got the resin tiles, we found during gameplay that they look incredible on a light surface, but fade a bit on a dark surface. As a solution, we will be including a free while table covering to play on for anyone that ordered those to maximize the play experience.
We continue to navigate the tarriff situation and there are no plans to pass any of this cost on to backers.
We apologize for the delay in delivery. We know a lot of people spent a lot of hard earned money on these sets and want to make sure that we deliver the incredible premium experience that you expect from us, so it is a case of "measure twice, cut once" which is taking longer than we planned. As soon as product finishes production, we will send an update with schedules.
On track and moving forward

CATAN Friends,
We continue to move forward with the Masterpeice Series! There are about 70 items in the line and we are working on getting every one perfect.
We have finalized and gone to production on 59 of the items. The final 11 have been tweaked and we will be showing them to the CATAN team at New York Toy Fair in the coming week for final approval.
The current holdup has been that we are tweaking the outer frame peices to make sure that the joints are snug, but not too loose or tight. We are working on getting this perfect in both wood and resin and have been dialing in the last millimeters.
With approval, all items will officially be in production and we will move to delivery of goods to the US and shipping. We are still on track for late spring (May).

Happy New Year, Catan fans! We are thrilled to officially be in production as we head into 2026 and want to share some photos of the final products with you.
Shipping is still looking to begin in May. We apologize for the delay; the timing issues stem from our excitement and from adding new items to the project, like expansion packs, cards, and additional civilizations. When the project ended, we had over 70 SKUs, and we needed to ensure each one was perfect. Everything, including sizing, fit, color, and packaging, needs to meet both our standards and those of the CATAN team, which has taken longer than anticipated due to the many options. We apologize and promise it will be worth the wait!
